Community Soccer

Our community soccer program emphasizes fun and growth, offering structured sessions that challenge players while ensuring enjoyment without the pressure to perform.

Calgary City FC’s Community Soccer Program is designed to provide young players with an inclusive, fun, and development-focused soccer experience. This program is perfect for children who want to learn the game in a relaxed, pressure-free environment while staying active and building foundational soccer skills. Each session is structured to ensure progressive skill development, allowing players to improve at their own pace while fostering a love for the game.

Our certified coaches create an engaging and positive learning environment where players develop key motor skills, ball control, and game awareness in a supportive setting. With multiple locations across the city, families can easily find a convenient session close to home.


Program Categories & Focus

Active Start (Ages 3-5: Born 2019, 2020, 2021) – $90 per child

  • Focus: Coordination, balance, basic motor skills, and ball discovery

  • Designed for our youngest players to build confidence while having fun with the ball

Fundamentals (Ages 6-8: Born 2018, 2017, 2016) – $110 per child

  • Focus: Individual skills, dribbling, and an introduction to small-sided games

  • Encourages creativity and exploration while learning the game in a structured environment

Learning to Train (Ages 9-11: Born 2015, 2014, 2013) – $130 per child

  • Focus: Developing a strong technical foundation in ball control, passing, receiving, shooting, and finishing

  • Players gain confidence in game-like scenarios while improving decision-making on the field


Program Locations & Schedule

Sessions run from April to June at multiple community locations across Calgary:

📍 Richmond Knob Hill Community Association – Tuesdays, April 15 – June 24
📍 Hounsfield Heights Briar Hill Community Association – Wednesdays, April 16 – June 25
Rosedale Community Association – Thursdays, April 17 – June 26
Killarney Glengarry Community Association – Fridays, April 18 – June 27
Montgomery Community Association – Mondays, April 21 – June 30


What’s Included?

Full uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks)
Soccer ball for each participant
Participation medals for all players
End-of-season wrap-up party to celebrate the players’ progress


Important: Late registration fees apply after March 16th.
